Something I though i’d share with you:
So, i was reading my bible with my girl Heather and God totally turned a light on in my head and spoke to me something very cool so here it is:
Here is the verse
Psalm 4:4
In your anger do not sin;
when you are on your beds,
search your hearts and be silent.
so, when i read that God made a light bulb just click and this is what i got out of reading this verse
so, you know how when you lay down and it takes at least a couple minutes before you actually fall asleep right? I know for some people it takes longer than others but still with everyone you have to lay for at least a few minutes to fall asleep.
Well, God made me just click that He made us to have that on purpose so we have really no excuse when we lay down that we don’t have time to search our hearts and pray and get right with him and ourselves before we fall asleep.
When God made that click in my head i was like wow how many times do we complain about not being able to fall asleep when he is doing that on purpose to get us to talk with him and giving us time to search our hearts before we go to sleep like it says in Psalm 4:4
because guess what? tomorrow is not promised i would hate to fall asleep having a bunch of unsettled things and anger and a bunch of garbage eating up my heart and my relationships and go to sleep and not ever wake up in the morning and have to stand before God and him ask me why i never fixed it and leave people with that still with them. Tomorrow is not promised so every chance you get to make things right in your heart and with others take it and don’t take your time for granted!
treat every moment with people as it were your last.
“when you are on your beds,
search your hearts”
next time you lay down to fall asleep spend time talking with God and making sure your heart is right before you fall asleep.
